Pratim D Gupta’s Shantilal O Projapati Rahasyo is doing well on the box office and the director has been receiving many positive comments from his fans. He has regularly replying them.
One such fan has written about the budget of the film, “#shantilaloprojapatirahasyo is different..Loved the film .. I don't know what is the budget of the film, but it presents a grand film. ..it's like a short story : so many questions remain and u wud want to Kno what exactly is happening in their lives after the end. @PratimDGupta,” Arabinda Ghosh tweeted.
To which Pratim D Gupta replied, “Budget jo bhi ho, film badi honi chahiye.”

He turns out to be a detective when he gets involved in a mystery related to a superstar. Paoli Dam is playing the superstar role.
Meanwhile, Pratim D Gupta has announced his next directorial venture-a film titled Love Aaj Kal Porshu which will star Jisshu Sengupta in the lead role.
Love Aaj Kaal Porshu will be a modern-day love story. It will show changing dynamics of man-woman relationships against a riveting backdrop.
