Swastika Mukherjee Refuses To Accept Nomination For The Film Shah Jahan Regency
Actress Swastika Mukherjee is known for bold answers and acts. She is one actress in the Tollywood who knows how to give it back even when fans cross their limit and she is once again ruling the internet by rejecting the nomination for her film Shah Jahan Regency. The film has been nominated for five awards and her name is for best-supporting actress. 

Srijit Mukherji tweeted about the nominations and she replied back, “Since I didn’t support anyone in the film I refuse to accept this nomination & any award for the same. Everything has become a joke in this country. Whether it’s Art or Politics or Awards. Do hell with it.”

And everyone is tweeting saying, ‘Like a boss’. The film is based on novel Chowringhee by Mani Shankar Mukherjee. The film also stars Abir Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Anjan Dutt, Rituparna Sengupta.

On the work front, it is reported that Swastika will be next seen in director Satrajit Sen's untitled project. Sayani Dutta will also be seen in the lead roles. However, there is no official confirmation on this as the director is tight-lipped on any information.

The film is a women-centric film which will feature three female characters in the central role. The third woman character will be played by Debjani Chatterjee. Shooting for the film is scheduled to start towards the end of September at different locations of Kolkata and Arunachal Pradesh.
