Lockdown has made celebrities super active on social media as they are sharing their throwback pictures and videos. But Srijit Mukherji has made full utilization of this lockdown and started working on the scripts. The director has few days before hinted about his next film ‘Iti Bina’ which made fans crazy.
Now the director is again back and has shared about his scripts on micro-blogging site, “Finished my third script of the lockdown after Iti Bina and a six part series on a famous slice of cricketing history. This one is an eight part thriller based on a popular contemporary Bengali novel.”

The director has been working on the scripts of his films which he will be making in future. His comment section is flooded with fans suggestions.
Meanwhile, he is currently busy with his film Kakababur Protyaborton which stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aryann Bhowmik in the lead role. The shooting of the film has been done in South Africa.
The film is based on Sunil Gangopadhyay’s novel ‘Jongoler Modhye Ek Hotel’. The story will revolve around Raja Roy Chowdhury aka Kakababu and his nephew Santu. Both have gone on a trip to Nairobi, Kenya and there they are hosted by a Bengali couple. After some days, Kakababu and his nephew Santu is invited from an Africa-based Indian businessman in their hotel which is located inside Maasai Mara forest. But before their arrival, some German tourists go missing from the hotel and what happens next is the film all about.
On the other hand, Iti Bina is based on a woman Bina Das was a revolutionist and had attempted to assassinate the Bengal Governor Stanley Jackson, in the Convocation Hall of the University of Calcutta.
Srijit Mukherji’s last release Dwitiyo Purush was highly appreciated by the fans. The film is now being streamed online. The film stars Raima Sen and Parambrata Chatterjee in the lead role.
