Aarti Chabria Enjoying Exotic Honeymoon In Maldives, Releases Its First Picture On SpotboyE.com
You caught us on the wrong foot, when the news about your shaadi being next month did the rounds earlier this month...
(Laughs) It was a well-concealed secret.

Indeed...
(Laughs again) Lekin sach bataun, sab kuch bahut jaldi mein ho gaya.

Where are you, now?
In Maldives.

Honeymoon bhi jaldi mein ho gaya...
(Laughs) Haan. And, Maldives is beautiful.

So, how did you meet Visharad Beedassy?
Well, it was quite an arranged match. We met through some members of our respective families. He is largely based in Perth. He came down to Mumbai and was at my place with me and my family for 4 days. Somehow I soon knew that he was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

He had left for Perth and I committed to him while he was in transit.

You must have started missing him when he left...
(Laughs) Now, you are putting words in my mouth.

And then?
We got engaged in March. The rest, as they say, is history.

To tell you the truth, I never believed that I would go in for an arranged marriage. I am a die-hard romantic.

Do you believe in the institution of marriage? I mean, did you believe in it before you met Visharad? Asking you this because most marriages are coming with an expiry date, nowadays...
I think it depends on you how much you want to invest in it. I do believe in the institution of marriage. Like every coin has two sides, this one too has. I have seen both the sides around me.

But I also believe in affirmations. I write that out. It helps (pauses).

Go on...
It helps to focus on what you want rather than what you don't want. Like, say the man of my dreams. I start penning the qualities I want. Or be it anything else. It starts to manifest before it exists.

I have had great coaches in my life. I want to give back to the society what I have been motivated with. It's also about positive energy.

So, where will you be settling? Mumbai or Perth?
Well, Visharad spends almost equivalent time in Perth and Mauritius both. So, we will be shuttling between Perth, Mauritius and Mumbai.

I will continue to work, of course. Work will not take a backseat. I am not going anywhere.

Babies?
I have always been a very family-oriented person. I would love to have kids. The rest is in God's hands.
