Actress Mouni Roy is garnering much love and praise for her outstanding performance in Ayan Mukerji’s directorial ‘Brahmastra’. She essayed the role of antagonist Junoon in the fantasy film, which starred Shah Rukh Khan in a special cameo appearance. Mouni’s scenes with SRK’s character Mohan have a separate fan base and are the main highlights of the film. While talking exclusively to us, Mouni Roy spoke about working with SRK and called her experience 'magical.'

The Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev actress admitted she was very first nervous to act with the actor on the first day of the shoot. Mouni shared with us, “It was amazing. I will always call my experience of working with Shah Rukh sir magical. I shot with him for six or seven days. It was amazing to see that he had the same energy at 7 in the morning as he would have during the evening shoots. He is so charming, intelligent, and magically manic man. I feel so grateful that I got an opportunity to work with Shah Rukh sir."

Roy added, “I remember every single day I was like a puppy around the sets who had so many questions to know about the experiences he had on different projects. We all had loved Shah Rukh sir forever and his movies so it was nothing less than a dream to work with him.”ALSO READ: EXCLUSIVE! Furthermore, the 36-year-old actor asserted that she kept telling herself to make the most of the chance she got to work with SRK. “On the first day of the shoot, I was very nervous to work with him. I guess as an actor no matter how nervous you are, you have to perform, between action and take,  it would be okay but the other time on set in front of him, it was very unnerving to kind of talk to him. I love him so much and his body of work that I was taking it as an opportunity God and Ayan have been very kind to cast me in this role that I got to work with him so I wanted to make the most of it. So, on the first day, I was very nervous but then quickly I was telling myself to get over it and let’s make this really exciting experience,” Mouni stated.

Shah Rukh played the role of scientist Mohan Bhargava, who was a member of the secret mystic community in the first part of the fantasy trilogy. The film starred Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles and Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarunja, and others in supporting roles. Bankrolled by Karan Johar, ‘Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva’ was released on September 9, 2022.
