Esha Gupta Slaps Trolls, “If You’re Not Feeding Me, Financing Me Or F Word-Sleeping With Me, Then Your Peanut Doesn’t Matter”
“If you’re not feeding me, financing me or the third word which is F word, which means sleeping with me, then your peanut doesn’t matter,” Esha Gupta who has been pushed against the wall, but cares now a damn about them. In her latest interview with SpotboyE.com, she talks about her upcoming film and several other things
Finally, after a month and a half, Esha Gupta and Anupam Kher starrer One Day Justice delivered is set to hit the theatres on July 5, 2019. The film was earlier supposed to release in May but then it was delayed to June and now the makers have zeroed down on July 5 as the date of its release. For the promotional interview of the film, we met Esha on Saturday evening at Novotel, Juhu where she spoke about the reason for the delay.
In an exclusive interview with SpotboyE.com, when we asked Esha about going de-glam for One Day Justice Delivered and also working with Anupam Kher, she said, “It’s been a great experience working with Anupam Kher, because, he’s been my Guru and life always takes a full circle and it takes you back to your Guru. It really amazing that I got to work opposite him and I think it’s the best thing. The role is of a special crime branch officer. She’s rough and tough, no bullshit and has a nice attitude. These are the kind of films that I watch and these are the kind of films that I want to be a part of.”
Not only this, when we asked her if it’s easy to bully an outsider in the industry, she said, “I won’t say bully, but I think it’s easy to disregard an outsider.” When prodded further and asked if nepotism exits, she said, “Of course, it does.”
The interview would have been incomplete without asking her about social media trolls. When asked how she deals with trolls and criticism, she said, “I read this quote somewhere, ‘If you’re not feeding me, financing me, or the other F word, which means sleeping with me, then your peanut doesn’t matter.’”
