Faisal Khan Opens Up On Playing PM Modi And Marriage Plans With Muskaan Kataria
As we caught up with Faisal Khan for a quick interview, the actor spoke about playing PM Modi in a web series, and also spilled the beans on his love life and marriage plans
Recently, SpotboyE.com engaged in a conversation with actor-dancer Faisal Khan who will be playing PM Modi (from his young days as a teenager) in his biopic for Eros Now series. We started off by asking him as to how was it to essay such an important role so early on in his career.
Faisal stated that he was nervous before taking up the character considering he is the Prime Minister of the country and a much talked about personality. He revealed that he had to go through a lot of preparations to do justice to the role. Right from holding a tea kettle to pouring it in a glass, plus the body language, he had to work on the minutest of details. Faisal revealed that he had to play the younger version of Modi in the age bracket of 12-18 years, so he underwent through workshops to get the gestures and nuances bang-on.
Sharing his excitement about the opportunity to play a teenaged Modi, Faisal shared an interesting incident with us. The actor said, "I applied for US Visa and while they were interviewing me they asked me what is your recent project and I proudly told them I have just finished shooting for a web series based on current prime minister Narendra Modi and they were amazed.”
Faisal further added that he tried copying Modi by seeing his videos on the Internet. “In fact, we have shot the complete series on real locations. I sat on the same bench where he used to sit in his school days and the lake where he used to swim and had crocodiles in it,” revealed the actor. The young actor didn’t hold back when asked about comparisons between the series and Vivek Oberoi's film, PM Narendra Modi.
