EXCLUSIVE Interview: Rajkummar Rao And Boman Irani Talk About Made In China Amidst 'Make In India' Mantra
Content-driven films are turning out to be a bigger crowd-puller lately as compared to what the Khans have to offer. One such actor who is riding high on his unique choice of films is Rajkummar Rao who has, Made In China coming up on the Diwali 2019 weekend. Rajkummar, just like Ayushmann Khurrana, is sought after and is leaving the audience wanting for more with each passing film. Though Rao is being modest about his achievements, he does agree that he never had a plan B and being an actor was the only game plan he ever worked on. Thank god, it worked!

Stree followed by Judgementall Hai Kya has made Rajkummar a favourite amongst directors who are wanting to tell different stories. So we caught up with both Rajkummar and Boman Irani, who seem to be on a mission to make it big as entrepreneurs (in the film). Rao and Irani play the role of Gujarati's and hence Made In China title seem to be catchy especially when India, that is being led by a Gujarati - Narendra Modi -  has 'Make In India' mantra echoing in every nook and corner. Watch the interview to know what the two who are out selling Chinese Viagra in Made In China have to say about Indian Cinema going through a paradigm shift.

But it isn't only the content-driven realistic cinema that is attracting Rajkummar, the actor was offered the most typical Bollywood film that can ever be, Dostana 2 produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, but he had to turn it down because of date issues. That means the actor is interested in diversifying.

Made In China also stars, Mouni Roy, Gajraj Rao and Paresh Rawal and is geared up to hit the screens on 25th October 2019!
