Madhuri Dixit: My Husband And I Often Go Out Without Kids To Keep Our Romance Alive
Madhuri Dixit and Dr. Sriram Nene may have been married for over 16 years, but when it comes to romance, the two can give even newly-weds a run for their money.
SpotboyE caught up with the Dhak Dhak girl and her cardiac surgeon husband at the launch of Tata Sky 'Dance Studio' recently and the couple opened up about films, family and more.

When asked how they keep the romance in their marriage alive even after so many years, Madhuri said, "We often go out, just the two of us. Ram and I also make it a point to give total attention to each other; we just forget the world. That strengthens our bonding."

Now, Dance Studio is an interactive DTH service, which will have Madhuri teaching how to dance to her popular Bollywood songs. It also has an impressive line-up of legendary dancers like Pt Birju Maharaj, and ace choreographers like Saroj Khan, Remo D'Souza, Terence Lewis and Salman Yusuff Khan, who will provide introduction to different dance forms.

Talking about dance, which number of Madhuri is Dr Nene's favourite? Pat came the reply: "Que Sera Sera (Pukar, 2000) is my all-time favourite. It has a beautiful combination of her grace and Prabhudeva's talent."

Interestingly, Dr Nene says their sons Arin (12) and Raayan (10) dance secretly.

Considering the fab dancer their mommy is, is Madhuri teaching them? "They haven't taken dance seriously. At least, they don't dance much in front of me," she said.

Dr Nene argues, "She doesn't know half of it. I have recorded them dancing. They break into a jig when it's least expected."

We also asked Madhuri if item numbers with double-meaning lyrics should be banned. She said, "It's a very personal thing. Whatever you do has to be tasteful and it has to be done very well. And for that you need talent and the understanding of what is good and bad. I have been fortunate to work with the best."
