What went wrong in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3?
Many people are involved in the making of a film- cameraman, editor, sound recordist and lots more. All these guys were in it from the first day. We all thought we were making a nice film.
Did the producer Rahul Mittra mess it up for you? Pray, why was he hogging the light in so many frames?
It wasn't a very important role. We needed somebody with stature. I wasn't getting anybody like that in Bikaner, where we shot the film. So, we went with Rahul.
Are you happy with Sanjay Dutt's role? He didn't look like Sanjay the star! The role did not justify his star status either!!
Please understand that this film was not called Gangster. It was called Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster. In the 130-minute run, I think the roles of Saheb, Biwi and Gangster were equal.
Chitrangda had hardly anything to do.
How does the length of Chitrangda's role decided whether the film is good or bad?
I don't think so. Mahie Gill occupied centrestage...
That's because of her character. She is involved in most of the schemes that are laid out. She was involved in all the plot points.

One couldn't understand what was happening. A lot was happening, lekin phir bhi kaun aa raha hai, kaun ja raha hai. Are you happy with the box-office collection?
Well, they were definitely been low. Once I know that my film hasn't worked I switch off. One feels bad and depressed.
Are you depressed now?
Of course. I am feeling very bad.
Will it be Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 4 now?
Abhi toh I don't know.
You putting the blame on?
Only myself. At the end of the day, it's just a film. Agli picture se dhyaan denge.
