Three days before the highly anticipated film Saaho hits the big screens, we produce a candid conversation with the lead actors Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor. We caught up with the stars at JW Marriott on August 21 and in a free-wheeling chat, they spoke about the film in detail and also revealed some interesting unknown aspects of the film.
The actors began by expressing their state of excitement and nervousness as the film inches closer to the release day. We asked them about the unusual pairing as they are working together for the first time and both of them stated that it was a pleasure for them to work together. Then, the topic veered towards their training for the film, as it’s pretty evident from the trailer, that the movie is high on action.
Next, we were keen to know about Prabhas demanding a pay-cut in his price for the film and here’s what he said, “Yes, it's my friend's production, we grew up together. They were ready to pay whatever I asked. I feel that for Baahubali, this film or any other big film, you need to do your part and take your time. You can't just take the remuneration as you also want the film to be of high quality and big budget because it was 150 crore before and it became Rs 350 crore later, so I need to do my part.”

Prabhas was all praises for his leading lady as he said that she’s the apt choice for the role. He narrated an incident that involved them to stay awake the entire night to re-shoot for the posters as they weren’t happy with the earlier posters.
