In a new web series by Bindaas channel ‘The Trip’ Masaan fame Shweta Tripathi will be seen as Ananya Makhija – the bride, who goes on a road trip with her three best friends played by Lisa Haydon, Mallika Dua and Sapna Pabbi. SpotboyE.com caught up with the four vivacious actresses for a candid chat as they spoke, giggled and shared interesting tips from their exciting trip – from Delhi to Thailand.
As we sat down with them for a conversation, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actress just wouldn’t stop laughing! While Shweta gets to play the bride, it is Lisa’s character, Shaz, who is the mastermind behind the bachelorette road trip. Internet sensation Mallika Dua gets to play the funny, outgoing and the sensitive Nazia, whereas Khamoshiyaan and 24 fame Sapna Pabbi will be seen as the hot yoga instructor with OCD problems.
And since there are four girls and a bachelorette road trip, how can there not be some sexy shenanigans? Lisa says, “You won’t catch us prowling around in our swimsuits, you may catch us in our big, chubby underwears – the granny pants.” Mallika adds, “Our bond was more sisterly.”
And about the road trip from Delhi to Thailand, Shweta summed up the entire experience saying, “It was too good to be true. This is the first time I am acting with so many female characters and it was lots of fun working with them. Who says actresses dost nahi ban sakte? #nottrue.”
