Madaari sees Irrfan Khan reuniting with his Mumbai Meri Jaan director Nishikant Kamat. The vigilante drama, which is inspired by real-life incidents, sees a splendid performance from Irrfan. As a man wronged by the society who takes matter into his own hands, Irrfan delivers a powerful performance. Jimmy Sheirgill too provides able support as the investigating police offer.
While the movie does send out a strong message, it does lag in bits and parts, making you wish for a tighter screenplay.
