Firangi & Tera Intezaar Box-Office Collection, Day 1: Kapil Sharma & Sunny Leone Get A DISASTROUS Opening

Kapil Sharma’s Firangi and Arbaaz Khan-Sunny Leone’s Tera Intezaar opened very poorly at the box-office. While Firangi made Rs 1.75-2 crore approximately, Tera Intezaar collected Rs 40-45 lakh...

Another setback for comedian Kapil Sharma as his 2nd stint in Bollywood, Firangi, opened extremely poorly to the ticket windows. It barely managed to make Rs 1.75-2 crore on Day 1.

Same was the case with Arbaaz Khan- Sunny Leone starrer Tera Intezaar, which performed even worse and collected Rs 40-45 lakh only.

Talking about Firangi, the collections are quite low as compare to Kapil Sharma’s debut film, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (directed by Abbas-Mustan) which touched a figure of Rs 8 crore on Day 1.Tera Intezaar on the other hand, has fared a little better in the cities of Uttar Pradesh.

However, the reviews for both films are bad. Author and SpotboyE reviewer, Khalid Mohammed rated Firangi just One Star and Tera Intezaar as ‘stars not applicable’ and wrote, “This one must be one of the nominees for the winner of the WORST Film of the Year. Jeer!”

Meanwhile, things don’t seem to be getting smooth for Kapil Sharma. Just yesterday, we decoded for you exclusively that Farah Khan’s cryptic tweet about certain mannerless people was for Kapil Sharma and a few others. Farah, who is known for her chilled out attitude, is might pissed with the comedian for sending out just a ‘janta  WhatsApp invite for his film’s screening, which was held on Nov 30.

Well, coming back to the films’ performance, doesn’t look like that they will pick up through the weekend as there is no positive word-of-mouth for either of them.
