Game Over Box-Office Collection, Day 1: Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Game’ Fails To Start On A Winning Note
Game Over, a thriller starring Taapsee Pannu, released this week. The film has got great reviews from critics and the mass is also enjoying the edgy drama. While Taapsee has delivered a strong performance once again after Badla, unfortunately, Game Over has not opened to the ticket windows with much power.

That’s right. Game Over has collected Rs 40-50 lakh on Day 1, according to Box Office India. The opening figure is surely disappointing for the Pink actress, considering the content of the film and the storytelling is being highly praised by all. Editor, Vickey Lalwani rated film 3 stars and appreciated Taapsee’s flawless performance. He wrote, “Quite strapped or let's say confined in one place in most parts of the movie, Taapsee manages to spook you. The trauma her character suffers and the consequent loss of confidence she experiences of a dirty game played on her, when added to the subsequent circumstantial terror, is enough to take you into a flashback of the film's eerie scenes when you switch off your bedroom light to hit the bed. Isn't that just what the doctor ordered if you're out to make a film that is quite meant to scare?”

He further added, “Taapsee Pannu playing the game (film) almost singlehandedly, wins it hands down with her histrionics, which deserve praise of high order for after all she has no Godfather!

The film has been getting positive response from the audience, so a good worth of mouth publicity may help Game Over in stepping-up its game in terms of moolahs. Stay tuned to this space for all box-office updates.
