HAPPY NEW YEAR Crosses 82 Cr Nett, Will Be 1st Film In History To Cross 120 cr nett Over Weekend

One of the biggest releases of the year ''Happy New Year'' released on Friday during one of the biggest holiday period of the year which is post Diwali. Film has huge pre release buzz and it was expected to shatter few records in first three day itself. Though like all big releases in recent times film has mixed reviews from few ''''usual suspected'''' sources but that does not matter as box office hurricane has arrived truly in style. Film has simply ripped off box office records.

Film was bumper on Friday and despite mixed reviews, audience went berserk. Film collected humongous 44.97 cr nett on day one which was by far highest ever opening day in history of Bollywood. This is not only first time a film crossed 40 cr nett but also reached close to 45 cr nett.

Yesterday again film has started on strong note and though there is 15% drop in circuit like Rajasthan but then that is a good indicator considering Rajasthan was weak even yesterday. Gujarat and few other areas were affected by pooja and Delhi city took hit in evening due to riot in few areas. Film still managedhuge 37.64 cr nett on day two which was still huge. Now film has total of 82.61 cr nett and that is what we predicted exactly 24 hours back.

Today again film started on strong note and it seems that one more 40 cr nett day is on the card unless there is major fall in late night shows due to working Monday tomorrow which is the case these days in metros. Still film should cross 39 cr nett and that means 120 cr nett weekend is almost certain. This will be again huge record beating 107 cr nett of ''Dhoom 3''.
