Jabariya Jodi Box-Office Prediction: Parineeti Chopra-Sidharth Malhotra Starrer To Make A Decent Opening
Here’s the early prediction of Parineeti Chopra-Sidharth Malhotra starrer Jabariya Jodi, which hits the theatres tomorrow
After making their fans and the audience laugh hard with
their last release Hasee To Phasee (2014), Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti
Chopra are set to return with yet another rib-tickling film. Jabariya Jodi is
set in the backdrop of Bihar and few parts of Patna. For quite some time, apart
from Golmaal Again, Pari’s last films like Namastey England, and Meri Pyaar
Bindu among other bombed at the box-office. Then it was Akshay Kumar’s Kesari
that changed the game for the actress. On the other hand, Sidharth too has been
striving hard to give a hit for some time now. With Jabariya Jodi’s trailer to
be receiving a great response, the duo must be praying for the film to do
wonders at the box-office.
As it's Thursday, and like every week we bring to you the box-office early predictions and will this Friday’s release Jabariya Jodi get a good start or no? Film and Business Trade Analyst Girish Johar talks to SpotboyE about the box-office predictions of Jabariya Jodi. When asked about the same, he pegged the collections to around Rs 3-4 Crore on 1st Day. He told us, “Sidharth is trying to do different kind of roles and this time he’s trying to do a massy comedy. That’s why he’s trying to do a different kind of character. He has done charismatic character so far and this time he’s turning out a desi and romantic guy.”
“Parineeti is also trying to do massy and commercial. The
buzz is pretty much decent and songs are also there. Competition has also
finished up their run. So, I feel there is some window for the film. But it
still depends on how the content is made and how will the audience will receive
and perceive it. I’ll peg it around 3-4 Cr. Then, agar aachi rahi toh upar jaayegi,”
he further added. Jabariya Jodi hits the theatres tomorrow.
