Pa. Ranjith’s Kabali has clearly defeated Nishikant Kamat’s Madaari, if the weekend collection is anything to go by.

While the Rajinikanth-starrer amassed over Rs 114 crore during the opening weekend, the social-thriller starring Irrfan Khan raked in only close to Rs 14 crore.

Though Kabali has not received great reviews, the film has gone on to break records with collections. Rajini magic, after all.
