Shahid Kapoor has a reason to celebrate as Kabir Singh is creating a lot of buzz. The film has opened up to the ticket windows with great numbers and besides the moolahs, this Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy is getting a lot of praises. Shahid Kapoor’s wwork is being loved and Kiara Advani finally has some meat to show.
According to Box Off India, Kabir Singh has made Rs 20 crore (approx) on Day 1. The report also suggests that if it touches 21 crore, it may become the second highest opener of 2019. This is definitely a breather for Shahid, considering his last few appointments with the box-office didn’t go quite well.

Talking about the performances, Shahid has nailed the self-destructive, crazy in love character to T. While the critics are all praises for him, the masses is also going gaga. Kiara Advani doesn’t go unnoticed in spite of Shahid’s character being so strong.
SpotboyE.com Editor, Vickey Lalwani rated the film 3.5 stars and wrote, “Shahid Kapoor in Kabir Singh is as good as he was as Aditya Kashyap in Jab We Met, if not more. Finally, the actor has made the right choice. After a spew of films that you wondered why he did them, he hits you hard and says, "I am back". Quite identified with his anger as long as it was not on the wrong side of the law; if you love somebody you ought to be fierce about your bloody feelings, else better not love. Do what your heart says is right, you have only one life. Don't think what the world will say, nobody can actually feel what you're undergoing and so they're just basically consoling you.
