Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s Kabir Singh has remained unaffected at the box-office despite several other releases across India. The movie continues to march ahead with an aim to touch the Rs. 300 crore mark soon in the upcoming days. The film has so far earned Rs. 275.96cr approx in the 6th week of its release. All these numbers are achieved by the film despite limited screens and shows, keeping in mind the other big releases. Following Kabir Singh is Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 which has so far minted Rs. 125 cr approx.

Rating the film 3.5 stars SpotboyE.com Editor Vickey Lalwani rated wrote, “Shahid Kapoor in Kabir Singh is as good as he was as Aditya Kashyap in Jab We Met, if not more. Finally, the actor has made the right choice. After a spew of films that you wondered why he did them, he hits you hard and says, "I am back". Quite identified with his anger as long as it was not on the wrong side of the law; if you love somebody you ought to be fierce about your bloody feelings, else better not love. Do what your heart says is right, you have only one life. Don't think what the world will say, nobody can actually feel what you're undergoing and so they're just basically consoling you. Right, Sandeep Reddy Vanga (director)? Isn't just that what you are saying in KS?”

There is a buzz that Shahid Kapoor is being considered for Bollywood remake of Telugu hit film Jersey.
