Saif Ali Khan’s last outing Baazaar proved to be a
box-office dud. The film was applauded by one and all and even gained positive
citric reviews but did not manage to collect the expected moolah. Now the actor
is coming up with yet another flick, Laal Kaptaan, which hit the theaters,
today. Ever since the trailer hit the web, Twittrerati had been eagerly waiting
for the film to release. But looks like it’s not a Good Friday for Saif Ali
Khan as the not-so-good reviews have been pouring in.
With the low buzz around it looks like the film is going to
suffer at the box-office. To know the first day box-office collection of Sai
Ali Khan starrer, we got in touch with the Film Business and Trade Analyst
Girish Johar. He told us that the film’s first-day collection will be under one
crore. The film may also see the drop in collections as next weekend, is the
Diwali weekend and has 3 big releases lined up- Housefull 4, Made In China and
Saand Ki Aankh.

Saif hasn't, he puts his best foot forward- but Navdeep is always round the corner to drag it back in almost every frame. There are warriors, murders, animals- but nothing even holds attention for a short duration.”
