Nil Battey Sannata, Laal Rang sink without a trace

It has been a disastrous weekend at the ticket counters. Three of the weekend’s releases – Nil Battey Sannata, Laal Rang and Santa Banta Pvt Ltd have all been washouts at the box-office.
Swara Bhaskar’s Nil Battey Sannata couldn’t do much at the B.O. despite its glowing reviews. The film garnered only Rs 1 crore 88 lakh.
Randeep Hooda’s Laal Rang and Neha Dhupia’s Santa Banta Pvt Ltd couldn’t even cross the 1-crore mark – while the former somehow managed to collect Rs 85 lakh, the latter’s collections were dismal at Rs 37 lakh.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan, in its second weekend, raked in over Rs 7 crore.
