Not a rocking start for Rocky Handsome

John Abraham may not be too happy with the opening day collections of his film, Rocky Handsome. The action thriller collected Rs 5 crore 29 lakh on Day One.
These numbers are disappointing for director Nishikant Kamat, whose last release Drishyam enjoyed a good run at the box-office. There’s always a chance of the film picking up over the weekend. But the point to be noted here is that the buzz around Rocky Handsome isn’t too strong.
John’s earlier production Vicky Donor had started off on shaky ground but soon soared thanks to its glowing reviews. His Madras Café too enjoyed positive reviews, though box-office success eluded it.
Will Rocky Handsome go the Vicky Donor way? Or will it fail on both accounts – content as well as box-office success?
