Pati Patni Aur Woh Box-Office Collection Day 1: Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday And Bhumi Pednekar Receive A Huge Welcome

Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh seem to have loved by one and all. The film, helmed by Mudassar Aziz faced a clash with Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt’s period drama Panipat: The Great Betrayal.  But it looks like despite the huge clash with Ashutosh Gowarikar’s period drama audience seem to shower their love on the Kartik, Ananya and Bhumi starrer. The film has earned Rs 9.10 cr on Day 1 making it Aaryan’s highest opener ever to date.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh Tweet Pati Patni Aur Woh's box-office number and wrote, “#PatiPatniAurWoh is excellent on Day 1... This, despite competing with another biggie [#Panipat], which resulted in screens/shows getting divided... Expect solid growth on Day 2 and 3... Emerges #KartikAaryan’s biggest opener... Fri ₹ 9.10 cr. #India biz.” (ALSO READ: Pati Patni Aur Woh Box-Office Early Prediction: Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday And Bhumi’s Love Triangle To Lead At BO)

Giving the list of Aaryan’s previous movie’s box-office collections he wrote, “#KartikAaryan versus #KartikAaryan... *Day 1* biz...2019: #PatiPatniAurWoh ₹ 9.10 cr 2019: #LukaChuppi ₹ 8.01 cr 2015: #PyaarKaPunchnama2 ₹ 6.80 cr 2018: #SonuKeTituKiSweety ₹ 6.42 cr 2011: #PyaarKaPunchnama - which shot Kartik to fame - had collected ₹ 92 lakhs on Day 1.”

Calling it fresh and entertaining, SpotboyE Editor Vickey Lalwani rated the film with 3.5 stars and wrote in his review, “It's not lifted from the 1978 classic, it's fresh and entertaining, it's not made for the heck of piggybacking on a hit's name. It starts off a bit slow but Mudassar Aziz (director) starts pedaling real hard after 45 minutes and the labor of love starts rolling out into a fun drama. It's always difficult to reprise the past and yet keep the viewers engaged and grinning but Aziz has done it. Pati, Patni Aur Woh is a cute-watch. Kartik Aaryan has tried to do an Amol Palekar here. I had a similar feeling when I saw him in Luka Chuppi. Or was it that both films had him caught in the crossfire, which was a hallmark in Palekar's ventures?”
