Pati Patni Aur Woh Vs Panipat Box-Office Collection: Kartik Aaryan Scores Well; Arjun Kapoor Struggles On Day 2
The second-day box-office verdict for Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, Ananya Panday’s Pati Patni Aur Woh and Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Sanjay Dutt’s Panipat has arrived and let's say, this clash is turning out to be quite interesting
This Friday (December 6) saw two big movies Pati Patni Aur Woh and Panipat clashing at the box-office. Though the two genres of the movies were different, they came across as competitors as they got released on the same day. On its opening day, Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday starrer did an exceptional job by minting in Rs. 9.10 crore. This feat is not just commendable but also it is also one of the biggest openers for Kartik. On the other hand, Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt starrer Panipat opened on a low note as it collected only Rs. 4.12 crore at the box-office. However, the second-day box-office verdict for both the movies is here and it looks pretty interesting.
Well, going by the latest trends, Pati Patni Aur Woh scored big as it collected Rs. 12.33 crore on day 2 while Panipat struggled to make a significant mark on Day 2 as it approximately earned Rs. 5.75-6 crore at the domestic markets. It’s a jump from yesterday but not a satisfactory one. Seeing so much difference in the box-office collections, it is pretty obvious that people are enjoying the love-triangle drama rather than the historical drama. However, the word of mouth for both the movies has been good so far, hence, we have to see how the two films turn out to be today which is on the third day.

From his direction to depicting the right kind of history in the film, Gowariker has mastered in every aspect. Talking about the leads of the film, Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon were pretty impressive. While Sanjay Dutt gave a power-packed performance in the film. Talking about Pati Patni Aur Woh, SpotboyE.com gave 3.5 stars to the film. The review stated that the director Mudassar Aziz (director) kept the viewers engaged and grinning throughout the film. Kartik Aaryan apparently entrenches himself further, Bhumi Pednekar is a scene-stealer while Ananya Panday is climbing the ladder.
