Day 1 is nothing to shout about for Team Sarbjit. The reviews have been mixed, and it's not going to be an easy task here onward to garner satisfactory returns. Let's wait and watch.
Sarbjit stars Randeep Hooda, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Richa Chadda and Darshan Kumaar in the lead roles. The film is a biopic on the life of Sarabjit Singh Atwal and his family. He was implicated of having wandered to Pakistani territory, and his sister Dalbir Kaur kept fighting for over 23 years to set him free from prison in Pakistan.
Directed by Omung Kumar, Sarbjit was first presented at Cannes this year, and the film released worldwide yesterday.
