Tiger-Shraddha’s Baaghi rakes in 11.8 crore on Day One
The Sabbir Khan-directed film becomes the third highest opener of 2016 after Fan and Airlift
Baaghi: A Rebel For Love enjoyed a good opening yesterday, the average reviews notwithstanding. The Tiger Shroff-Shraddha Kapoor starrer garnered Rs 11.87 crore at the box-office on Day One.
But how the movie fares over the rest of the weekend will be the litmus test. After all, the Sabbir Khan-directed film, which is loosely inspired from the Indonesian action thriller The Raid: Redemption, hasn’t got encouraging reviews.
While Shraddha has seen consecutive successes in the last 2 years, for Tiger, a lot rests on this film. All eyes are on the youngster as this is his second film after Heropanti.
