War Box-Office Collections Day 2: Hrithik Roshan And Tiger Shroff Starrer Collects Rs 21 Cr

Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan starrer War is being applauded by one and all. After the trailer was dropped on the web, Hrithik and Tiger’s fans were eagerly waiting for the film to hit the screens on Gandhi Jayanti. So much so, that the film received a huge response on Day 1. Tiger and Hrithik starrer War made history with its first day collections. Crossing 50 crore mark, War minted Rs 53 crore on Day 1. The collection consists of Hindi: 51.60 Cr and Tamil & Telugu - 1.75 Cr) on day 1. But now looks like, the film has seen a normal dip in its Day 2 collections.

According to a report in Box Office India, Tiger Shorff and Hrithik Roshan starrer witnessed a downfall in its 2nd day collections, which is normal after a holiday release. Reportedly, War did good business on day two as it collected 22-23 crore. This will be a drop in the 55-60% as compared to its Day 1 collections. War has made a collection of estimated Rs 74 crores nett.

SpotboyE Editor Vickey Lalwani rated the film with 4 stars and wrote, “Hrithik Roshan did a very wise thing by insisting (to director Siddharth Anand or producer Aditya Chopra?) that Tiger Shroff should be cast in War. Jackie and Ayesha Shroff's son has not floundered as he did on a few previous occasions in his career till date. Rising above expectations, in fact, this young man does not let even one scene down whether he's standing with or without the super-talented Hrithik in the frame.”

“Anand can put his head on the pillow tonight and have a better sleep than he has had in the last few years. War is a well-made film, high on style and importantly, substance. Starts off a bit disappointingly with few weak lines, but the dialogue writer Abbas Tyrewala's ink soon begins to flow once Tiger joins Team Hrithik,” his review read further.
