Jab Harry Met Sejal released over a long weekend and that worked in its favour. Day 4 is crucial too considering it’s a holiday owing to Raksha Bandhan.

On Friday, Akshay Kumar-Bhumi Pednekar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha will hit theatres and Jab Harry Met Sejal is set to face stiff competition. Hence, weekdays are significant as well.

Film critic and author, Khalid Mohamed, labelled the film as gift-wrapped Bollywood bonanza. In his review with SpotboyE.com, he stated, “This gift-wrapped Bollywood bonanza doesn’t quite shine a light, or dare I say uplift your spirits. In lieu of deluxe entertainment, there you are with a bickering (for starters) twosome taking off on a wild goose chase. Quack, before it melts into tedium.”
