After sharing intriguing teaser posters, the makers have finally unveiled the trailer of the gut shaking political drama, Madam Chief Minister starring Richa Chadha. She is all set to stun the audience as she packs in a robust performance in her upcoming film where she will be essaying a role of a political leader. The trailer is about a young politician who climbs up the political ladder on her own merit but faces some barriers when she tastes success. It is a story about a young woman’s journey and growth in the world of politics, a leader like never seen before, an unstoppable force!
The trailer gives a vibe of an intense political drama ending with a powerful dialogue by the protagonist Richa Chadha, “Tumhari awaaz uthane se, Tumhari seva karne se, Duniya ki koi takaat nahi rok sakti”, this indeed makes it even more intriguing. What’s more interesting is to see a woman’s rise to power in a dogmatic male-dominated setup. Speaking about the centre of attraction, Richa shines with her sharp act in the film. Apart from Richa Chadha, the sturdy ensemble also comprises of actors Saurabh Shukla, Manav Kaul and Akshaye Oberoi. Written and directed by Subhash Kapoor. A Kangra Talkies production, produced by Bhushan Kumar, is set to release in cinemas on 22nd January 2021.
