A crude gangster , a mixed-up young man & a beautiful woman, against the backdrop of the rough, lawless part of North-Western India . These are the only ingredients you need to create a Bollywood action film these days.
The visuals open with a rough-looking Manoj Bajpai, addressing a massive crowd , swearing revenge against the man who stole his lady-love from him.
Cut-to a rugged Arjun Kapoor, jumping off the roofs of rustic houses & beating goons to a pulp, against an unexpectedly catchy tune “Main toh Superman...Salman ka fan..”.
And then, the conflict, a.k.a, Sonakshi.
Long story short, Good guy (Arjun), rescues damsel in distress Sonakshi from being forced into marrying Bajpai, elopes with her , eventually falls in love & vows to protect her to death.
It may not sound like much, (or maybe even Ishaqzaade all over again), but you have to give the flick a chance because of the high-energy visuals, potentially viral music & ofcourse the performances.
What is interesting about this trailer in particular is the flawless editing & musical timing.
