First thing first, never expected such sizzling hot chemistry between Aditya and Shraddha, especially after the last few flops both have delivered (Rock On 2 and Fitoor). They first worked together in Aashiqui 2 where they played two young innocent lovers. From Aashiqui 2 to OK Jaanu- It’s quite a role reversal.
OK Jaanu is produced by Karan Johar and is directed by Shaad Ali. He has earlier remade Tamil hit Alaipayuthey as Saathiya and this time as well he has attempted a remake. Well yes, OK Jaanu is the Hindi remake of the hit Tamil film O Kadhal Kanmani starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen. The original was directed by Mani Ratnam.
The music of the film has been composed by the maestro AR Rahman. The background score is same as used in the Tamil version. Even the jeep scene on the beach has been kept intact in the Hindi remake.
The trailer starts with Naseeruddin Shah having a conversation with Aditya and Shraddha. It later unfolds the scintillating hot chemistry between Aditya and Shraddha. With few sex scenes incorporated in the Hindi remake (original didn’t have any), the trailer surely looks interesting.
Shraddha and Aditya portray a young couple in a live-in relationship in Mumbai with Naseeruddin Shah and Leela Samson playing supporting roles as an older couple in the film, portraying the younger couple's landlords.

With the current trend of recreating old classic tracks, Shraddha and Aditya will groove on Humma Humma in the film too. The original version of the 90s hit was picturised on Arvind Swamy, Manisha Koirala and Sonali Bendre in the film Bombay.
