Trailer Out: Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Haraamkhor Is Dark & Funny!

After a long battle with the Censors, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Haraamkhor has finally been given the green signal and the trailer proves that this will be one dark love story.

The film starring Nawazuddin and Shwetha Tripathi, will be released on January 13 2017, clashing with another romance, the Shraddha Kapoor-Aditya Roy Kapur starrer OK Jaanu.

But Haraamkhor is cheese to Ok Jaanu's chalk.

From the first scene to the last scene – you will laugh but get a glimpse at the dark realities of small towns.

And Nawazuddin once again proves that he can play complex characters like no one else.

The story revolves around a small-town school where a young student falls in love with her teacher, creating a huge scandal.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer Haraamkhor won several accolades at national and international film festivals. But the makers faced some struggle when it was shown to the Central Board Of Film Certification in July this year. Claiming that the subject was “very provocative”, Haraamkhor was banned. The movie has now been cleared by the Film Certification Apellate Tribunal (FCAT).
