Kangana Ranaut is always standing like a lone ranger amidst the whirlpool of controversies. No wonder when we asked Mahie Gill, during a candid rapid fire, to name a celebrity who has the Ghost of controversies, she named the Manikarnika actress. Quite an obvious choice, we'd say!
So, we connected with Mahie recently, as her film Durgamati is all set to release on the OTT platform on Dec 11. The conversation was about her experience of playing a cop, Nidhi Verma, in the film, the hesitations actors have to work in remakes, considering Durgamati is also a Telugu remake. Mahie also spoke about how, as an actor she trusts her directors completely and doesn't interfere in the filming process, which she did sometimes in the beginning of her career.
