On Wednesday, Karan Johar took to social media to announce that Koffee with Karan is not returning with a new season. Fans are not happy
A couple of days ago, it was reported that Karan Johar will be returning with the new season of his popular chat show 'Koffee with Karan'. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor were also reported to appear as guests on the show. However, putting an end to all the rumours, Karan took to social media to clarify that KWK will not return with a new season. Yes, you read that right!
Karan shared a note on his social media accounts that read, "Hello, Koffee with Karan has been a part of my life, and yours, for 6 seasons now I'd like to think we've made an impact and even found our place in pop culture history. And so, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that Koffee with Karan will not be returning..."
Well, this news has come as a shock for many fans. One of the fans dropped a comment saying, "Tell me this is a prank." Another one commented, "But why?? It was an excellent show." A third one wrote, "No way... I was excited for the next season." "Why so (heartbroken emoji)," wrote a fan. On the work front, Karan has interesting projects. He is all set to return as a director for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. It stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. RARKPK is slated to release next year during the Valentine's Day weekend. Besides this, Karan's production ventures include Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan starrer Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Liger, Brahmastra, Govinda Naam Mera and Selfie among others.
