‘Missing’ Nargis Fakhri is back in Mumbai

The elusive Nargis Fakhri is back in Mumbai. The actress had left the city in May, reportedly broken-hearted after her relationship with Uday Chopra ended.
The leggy beauty had skipped Housefull 3 promotions, citing “health issues” and “over exhaustion”. Back then, her spokesperson said she had gone to New York for a month to “nurse herself back to health” (The Curious Case of Nargis Fakhri, May 13).
But even after a month, she stayed put in NY. By July, speculations of her bidding farewell to Bollywood started gaining ground. Rumours became strong when the makers of Banjo had to shoot many of Nargis’ portions in the US after the actress allegedly refused to come down to India (Nargis is inconsolable after her break-up with Uday and someone’s paying a heavy price for it, Jul 4).
However, last week, Nargis quelled rumours of her quitting Bollywood. She promised to be back for the promotions of Banjo, which has her paired opposite Riteish Deshmukh (Nargis Fakhri slams rumours of quitting Bollywood, Jul 28) Well, looks like she has kept her word.
SpotboyE.com caught her walking out of the city airport early today. However, the actress kept her face covered till the time she got into her car and sped away. Take a look at these pics:
While her hide and seek did puzzle us initially, turns out Nargis is suffering from a severe bout of flu. Anyway, it’s good to see Nargis back where she belongs -- in the limelight. Also, here’s wishing her speedy recovery.
