Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been grabbing the headlines for quite some time now for his messy relationship with wife Aaliya Siddiqui. While he has maintained silence on the whole ordeal, she and her lawyer Advocate Rizwan Siddiquee have been washing the estranged couple’s dirty laundry in public. Recently, Nawaz’s hired house help Sapna Robin Masih, who had alleged that the actor had left her stranded in Dubai without food or money, went back on her word and apologised to him.

Talking about the entire ordeal with Sapna, Nawaz brushed off all reports and allegations. In an interaction with Instant Bollywood, on Wednesday, the actor had expressed his concern over his kids Shora and Yaani’s studies. Quoted by News 18, he had said, “See, I frankly don’t want to comment on all this but yes, in all this, my children’s schooling is getting affected. My kids study in Dubai and they are here for a month. Reacting to Nawaz’s concern, Aaliya’s lawyer has now revealed that the actor cannot get the custody of his kids just because he is their provider. During an interview with ETimes, Rizwan said, “The Courts will decide the custody of the children as well as all other matters before it. The children in the meantime may continue their studies in India till then. In another shocking development, the Badlapur actor’s brother, filmmaker Shamaas Nawab Siddiqui too lashed out at his brother for paying off Sapna to change her statement. On wednesday, through a tweet, he wrote, “Scripted hai yeh. Kitno ko kharidoge? Bank balance khatam na ho jaaye, aapka toh kaam bhi choupat hai aur ruki filmon ke kaaran film industry ka 150 Cr atka rakha hai. Sahi hai, kabadi, dalle aur bakre bechne waale hi isko haankte huye narak mein lekar jaayenge.”

According to allegations made by Aaliya, she has accused Nawaz and his mother of domestic violence. She went on to state that they have been  restricting her provision of food, a bed, and a bathroom. She had also shared a video on her social media handle, where she could be seen sleeping on the living room sofa along with her kids.  

For the unversed, Aaliya aka Zainab is Nawazuddin's second wife and the couple got married in 2011 and have two kids together. In 2020, Aaliya filed for divorce from Nawazuddin and accused him of infidelity and domestic violence.
