‘Rooh Baba Vs OG Manjulika’: Kartik Aaryan Welcomes Vidya Balan On-Board For Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3; Announcement Leaves Fans Excited

One of the most-loved movie franchises, Bhool Bhulaiyaa is all set to return with a third installment. The Kartik Aaryan starrer will be directed by Anees Bazmee. Well, fans were left curious about the upcoming film when the makers announced the project. Now the excitement of the netizens is through the roof as Kartik announced that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will also star Vidya Balan. For the unversed, she was part of the first film which also starred Akshaya Kumar. Her performance as Avni and the malevolent spirit Manjulika is till date celebrated by movie fanatics.
Taking to Instagram, through a collaborative, Aaryan and Balan announced their upcoming collaboration. Set to release during Diwali 2024, the announcement has left fans super excited. Sharing a video, where Kartik and Vidya perform on the iconic song ‘Aami Je Tomar’ in their respective movies, the actor wrote, “And its happening (fire emoticon) Og Manjulika is coming back to the world of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Super thrilled to welcome @balanvidya (red heart emoticon). As soon as the video surfaced on the internet on Monday evening, ecstatic fans took to the comment section of the social media post to express their excitement and demand the return of other iconic characters from the first film. For those who don’t remember, a remake of the Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu (1993), Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) starrer Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja in lead roles. The psychological horror-comedy was a Priyadarshan directorial. The second installment of the film starrer Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu in lead roles. The Anees Bazmee directorial was released in 2022 and was very well-received by the critics as well as the audience.
