“There's No Film On The Cards,” Says Farhan Akhtar On Reports Of Collaborating With Salman Khan
After four decades of the famous writer jodi Salim-Javed (Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar), there are reports that their sons, Salman Khan and Farhan Akhtar may collaborate for a film soon. Apparently, Farhan met Salman at his house and they discussed a project at great length.

However, that’s not happening anytime soon. At a recent event organised by Sony Pictures Sports Network, Akhtar clarified that it was just a casual meeting with Salman where they exchanged ideas and thoughts. He added that Salman is an extended family friend and it was just a chat with no immediate plans for the future to work together. He said, “Salman and I have been sharing ideas but there is no film on the cards.”

Reportedly, Farhan is working on Toofan that’s directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. It’s a sports biographical film based on the life of a boxer. Salman, on the other hand, is kicked about his upcoming release Bharat that also stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Tabu and Sunil Grover. The trailer and songs from the film have created enough buzz already.

There are also talks on Tiger 3 with Ali Abbas Zafar as the director and Katrina yet again, as his co-star. SpotboyE.com had exclusively revealed that the film may go on floors in Jan 2020. Recently, the actor’s name was falsely used in a charity event advertisement. The actor took to social media and cleared the air about not being associated with any charity show.
