7 Years Of Student Of The Year: The Date That Changed Varun Dhawan's Life Forever
Karan Johar’s film Student of the Year starring Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra has completed seven years. The film needs no introduction and was the debut film of all three lead actors. The film, which released in 2012, was produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions and Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment. All three actors Alia, Varun and Sidharth made quite a mark with this film and have been having a successful career since. As the film completes 7 years, Varun Dhawan took to his social media to share a short but sweet post with his fans.

Varun Dhawan’s career in acting began with Student Of  The Year so obviously this film is very close to his heart. In a short and simple post on Twitter, the actor shared a snap of his Facebook memories from seven years ago. The snap is actually a poster of SOTY introducing the character of Varun Dhawan. Now, as the actor shares the same post seven years later, he gets nostalgic and his caption reads, “7 years back on this date my life changed.” He also shared it on his Instagram story and wrote “7years back.”

His life has surely changed a lot since then and the actor has been a part of some very successful films. Talking about the film, Student of The Year did well at the box- office and was a financial success. A sequel of this romantic comedy drama film Student Of The Year 2 featured Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria and released on May 10, 2019. Varun Dhawan will next be seen in the upcoming film Street Dancer 3D co- starring Sharaddha Kapoor and the film will release on Jaunary 24, 2020.
