Deepika Padukone is all dressed up and she is currently at the L’Oréal Paris Beach Studio at Cannes. For her first look at the Cannes Film Festival 2017, Deepika chose a red ruffled maxi dress by Johanna Ortiz ensemble.



I was expecting something much better from the diva, considering she is making a comeback to the gala after 6 years. Also, it is a renowned film festival where celebrities put in all the efforts, so that they land in the Best Dressed categories of the fashion gurus.  

But here, Deepika has gone way too blah with her first strike. Although her make-up and hair are in place, just the choice of the outfit has left me disappointed. While we do understand that she wanted to keep it subtle and simple as it wasn’t a red carpet look, but still she could have opted for a classier attire than this.



This morning, the actress’ fan club posted her pictures, where she is seen enjoying the weather in a bath robe. A few pictures of her getting ready also came out on social media. This is the second time Deepika Padukone is walking the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival. She attended the famous gala in 2010. That time, Deepika flaunted her Indian side and wore a saree to the do. It’s also being reported that while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will present Devdas at the festival, Deepika will showcase Ram Leela.

Coming back to Ms Padukone’s look- while her first appearance has failed to set the pace, I hope that the next ones are stunning!
