Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was not only a film that was meant to entertain, but it was also a film that inspired a lot of people. For starters, it did encourage a lot of people to take road trips with their family and friends. The film gave major friendship goals and also remains everyone’s favourite till date. This Zoya’s directorial venture treated the audience with picturesque locations of Spain and their colourful culture, making it a silver screen watch for sure.  Today as the film clocks in 8 years of its release, actor Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol penned an emotional post on their Instagram handles.

Abhay in his post described how this film was an honour to star in. He had fans who were hugely inspired by the film and accepted the way they are towards living a happy life. While some started new ventures, some ended things they never believed in but continued doing it. Whereas Farhan thanked the audience for making it a box office success not before remembering our gold old Bagwati and how she has moved on in life.

Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar was flooded with messages and requests from fans asking for a sequel to this 2011 hit. She revealed that she will only give it a nod if the script seems exciting enough for her. Currently, Hrithik is basking in the glory of his recent release Super 30 which has already touched the mark of Rs 50 crores within 3 days. The movie has been appreciated by critics as well as the audience. Based on the life of Indian Mathematician Anand Kumar coaching underprivileged kids under his Super 30 programme in Bihar was well known to all and film on it, is definitely a worth watch.
