The wait is finally over! The trailer of Kabir Khan's sports drama 83, starring Ranveer Singh as former legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, has been released. Ranveer as Kapil Dev leads team India win the 1983 World Cup. The four-minute long trailer will give you goosebumps and at the same time, it will leave you wanting for more.
The trailer begins with the Indian team faltering on the field. A part of t shows Ranveer as Kapil Dev declaring at the press conference that they are 'here to win'. The dialogues and impressive acts delivered by Ranveer & others will touch your heart. Pankaj Tripathi, who plays the then-manager of the team PR Man Singh, tells Kapil, "35 saal pehle hum log aazaadi jeete then, magar izzat jeetna baaki hai, kaptaan."
The trailer then shows team India's comeback, with Ranveer as Kapil Dev hitting sixes. We also get a glimpse of Deepika Padukone, who plays his wife Romi Dev.
