A Senior Journalist Points Out Sonu Sood's Torn Jeans While Meeting Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray; Netizens Say ‘Concentrate On His Work’
Actor Sonu Sood has turned the messiah for all the migrant workers stuck in the city during the lockdown. The actor has managed to send thousands of workers safely back to their homes through his #GharBhejo initiative. In regards to the commendable work he is doing, after meeting with the Governor of Maharashtra recently, yesterday, Sonu Sood shared a picture of him meeting with Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray. Soon later, a senior journalist tweeted the picture and criticized Sood for wearing torn jeans during his meet with the CM. Later, Netizens lash out at the journalist on social media.

Taking to Twitter, senior journalist Akhilesh Sharma shared a picture of actor Sonu Sood along with Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Shiv Sena Yuva leader Aditya Thackeray. Sharing the picture, Sharma tweeted, “गजब मायानगरी है मुंबई। लोग फटी जींस पहन कर सीएम से मिल आते हैं।.” In his tweet, the senior journalist mentioned how he finds the city of Mumbai quite surprising. Explaining his thoughts further, Sharma went on to share how it's surprising that people come to meet with the CM in torn jeans, pointing out Sonu Sood’s ripped jeans.

As soon as Akhilesh Sharma pointed out Sonu Sood’s torn jeans, all the fans and following of the actor jumped out in his support on Twitter and lashed out at the senior journalist. One fan tweeted, “Sir, distressed jean kehte hain usey aajkal sabhi pehnte. Fashion hai. Kaam Dekhiye filhal, kapde nahi.” In the tweet, the fan corrected the journalist that the pair of denim is called distressed jeans and asked him to focus on Sonu Sood’s work firstly, rather than his clothes.
