A few hours ago, it was reported that the shooting of Jugg Jugg Jeeyo starring Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Prajakta Koli was brought to a halt after certain members tested positive for COVID-19. The cast and crew of the film is currently shooting in Chandigarh, and several reports about Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and director Raj Mehta testing positive for Coronavirus had surfaced. While it was later reported by the Times Of India that Anil Kapoor tested negative, Sonam Kapoor was left worried as she read false reports on the Internet before she even had the chance to talk to her father.
Anil Kapoor later also tweeted and confirmed that he has tested negative for COVID-19. He wrote, “In the interest of putting any rumours to rest, I have tested negative for COVID-19. Thank you all for your concern and good wishes.” However, Sonam, who was in London, had read a few false reports and she took to her Twitter to slam those who were reporting incorrect information. She tweeted that she saw the incorrect information before she could speak to her dad.
“False reporting is dangerous. I’m sitting in london and I see incorrect information peddled by some parts of the media before I can even speak to my father. Please be responsible in your reportage,” Sonam Kapoor tweeted.
