and Kangana Ranaut were not able to attend Sridevi’s funeral, which took
place on Wednesday, Feb 28. But the stars immediately paid a visit to Boney Kapoor, as soon as he returned from Rameswaram,
where the producer immersed his late wife’s ashes.

Although he could not attend the prayer meet,
after hearing about the big loss, Aamir took to Twitter to post a heartfelt
note remembering Sridevi. It read, "I am deeply disturbed and saddened by
the untimely and tragic passing away of Srideviji. I have always been a huge
fan of her work. Equally I have always been an admirer of the grace and dignity
with which she conducted herself. My heartfelt condolences to everyone in the
family. I join all the millions of her fans in mourning her demise. Ma'am, we will
always remember you with love and respect. a."
Juhi too had shared a memory of Sridevi on
Twitter on the day of her demise, where the actress said, as soon as she (Juhi)
named her daughter Janhvi, she had called up Sridevi to inform her about the
same.
Kangana too grieved over the late actress death
and told a leading daily, “I was her fan since I saw a tubelight ad of hers as
a child and wanted to break the TV screen to bring her into our home. She was
such a childlike soul whose loss I feel deeply.”
Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli also visited the bereaved
family over the weekend as they could also not attend the
late actress’ funeral. The couple was out of town for
their respective work commitments. However, as soon as Anushka got
back to Mumbai, the first visit she made was to Boney Kapoor, at his residence
along with husband, Virat Kohli.
Sridevi left for her heavenly abode on February
24 leaving behind husband Boney Kapoor and her two daughters - Janhvi and
Khushi.
