Aamir Khan Productions releases a statement quashing rumours of a change in release date Laal Singh Chaddha
Recently the news of Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha, being postponed hit the internet. As per reports, there were speculations that makers are pushing ahead the movie release in order to avoid clashing with KGF Chapter 2 also set to release around the same time. However, now Aamir Khan Productions released a statement quashing these rumours. The makers confirmed it will release on Baisakhi on April 14, 2022. The release was pushed ahead for the third time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The statement read, “Aamir Khan Productions' Laal Singh Chaddha's release date stands as Baisakhi, 14th April 2022, contrary to some misleading stories. We once again would like to thank everyone who has supported us in the journey of making this film. Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Aamir Khan Productions, Laal Singh Chaddha is directed by Advait Chandan with music by Pritam and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The film has been adapted by Atul Kulkarni” Fans were quick to react to this post.

The movie will be released in theatres; it is the official Bollywood remake of the Hollywood movie, Forrest Gump. The Hollywood movie featured Tom Hanks, Rebecca Williams, Sally Field, Michael Conner Humphreys. Shooting began before COVID-19 hit the world, but it was delayed due to lockdown and restrictions imposed by the government to curtail the further spread of it.
