Aamir Khan’s nephew and former actor Imran Khan turned a year older on 13th January 2022. The actor celebrated his 39th birthday on Thursday and received heartwarming wishes from his industry friends on social media. Amongst them was actress Juhi Chawla, who wished Imran in the sweetest way possible. While extending her greetings, the actress also made a surprising revelation. Juhi revealed that Imran proposed to her when he was just six- years- old. Yes, you read that right!
Taking to her Instagram handle, the Bol Radha Bol actress shared a collage, featuring her photo and one picture of Imran from his childhood days. Alongside it, she wrote, “Imran proposed to me when he was 6 years old..!!!!…. heere ki pehchaan tab se hai usmein..!!!! Happy Happy Birthday to my youngest suitor ever..!!!! A 100 trees for you Imran…”
For the uninitiated, Imran had played the role of young Aamir Khan in Juhi’s debut movie, ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’. He made his debut as a lead actor in 2018 with Abbas Tyrewala’s directorial ‘Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na’ opposite Genelia D'Souza. Imran Khan was last seen in 2015 released romance drama ‘Katti Batti’ opposite Kangana Ranaut. He has been away from the silver screen for nearly 7 years. Imran has quit Bollywood, the news was confirmed by his friend and actor Akshay Oberoi.
In 2020, Akshay had told Navbharat Times, “Imran Khan has left acting at the moment. As far as I know, there is a better writer and director inside Imran, I do not know when he will direct his film himself, I am not going to put any pressure, but as a friend, I think so he will direct his film soon.
