Aamir Landed Up At Salman's Dad's House To Meet Sadhana

This incident was told to me by Sadhana herself when I interviewed her on Dec 1, 2013. She didn't want it to be a part of that interview, which seems to have turned out to be her last. As she came out till the gate of her Santacruz home to see me off, she said: "Ek baat kahun? Aamir wali baat phir kabhi likh lena."
That 'phir kabhi' moment has come.
Have you ever seen Aamir Khan walking in a daze? It happened in 2011 at Andheri's Cinemax when Dev Anand invited him to the premiere of the colored version (not attended by Sadhana) of his 1961 classic Hum Dono.
The actor (46-years old then) was mesmerised as he walked towards his car after the show; he felt that Sadhana is 'the' perfect beauty, more perfect than anybody else. Along the way, he decided that he 'has to' meet her.
Lekin kaise? India's Greta Garbo had stopped socialising. Mile to kaise mile?
Suddenly, he remembered that Sadhana was very close to Salim Khan's wife Helen. He called up Salim saab and requested him to organise his meeting with her.

The ever-helpful Salim saab promptly discussed this with Helen- and after a couple of days, Aamir was sitting in Bandstand's Galaxy Apartments waiting for the Hum Dono beauty to alight from her car and walk into Salim saab's house.

And meet they did. The senior actress and the Taare Zammen Par actor had a long conversation, which lasted 45 minutes. It was literally a 'taare zameen par' moment for Aamir,
Adieu, Sadhanaji. You indeed were a taara.
