Abhay Deol Recalls How Hrithik Roshan ‘Almost Killed’ Him And Farhan Akhtar While Shooting For ZNMD: ‘Sat There Thinking I’m Gonna Die Now’

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, starring Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif, and Kalki Koechlin, released almost 10 years ago, but remains a memorable film even today! The film’s 10th anniversary is approaching, and Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s production house, Tiger Baby Films shared a video from their ‘Off The Record’ series, wherein Abhay Deol can be heard narrating what went on behind the scenes. It was in that video that Abhay Deol shared how Hrithik Roshan ‘almost killed’ him and Farhan Akhtar on the set of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
The video shows the cast and crew filming for the ‘Mental Bwoy’ scene, and Abhay Deol later shared that before shooting this scene, Hrithik Roshan almost got them all killed as he forgot to switch the car off. He said, “I also remember before shooting this scene, Hrithik almost killed me and Farhan, and how he did that was- he was behind the driver's seat and he drove the car into this corner to park it on the side for the background of the shot and forgot to switch the car off! And he opens the door and walks out of it and then suddenly jumps back in cos the car started to go forward to go down the hill.”
He mentioned how Farhan swiftly jumped out of the car, and Abhay Deol was left thinking that he would die. “Farhan was really fast. He jumped out immediately, and I sat there thinking I’m going to die now,” he said. Check out the video below:
